Black History Month Celebration

BlackHistory

The Salvation Army Temple corps invites you to come celebrate with us the heritage and history we have during Black History Month. This is a time for all Americans to learn, honor and celebrate the  brilliant achievements of black men and women throughout history.

Our celebration is on Sunday, February 23rd at the Salvation Army Temple corps. We’ll feature poems, readings, songs and good Soul Food! Feel free to come to our church service at 11:15am or join us straight at 1pm for the event. Read More

Online Red Kettle – There is Still Time

ORK Post-2

Christmas is just around the corner and another year is coming to an end. We have accomplished so much this year.  We have touched the lives of hundreds or thousands of people – feeding families who are hungry, serving people affected by tornados or natural disasters, and helping families stay in their homes to name a few. We are able to do this because of your help.

In fact, seventy percent of the money received during the Red Kettle Campaign supports your neighbors – and all of that stays in the community in which it was received, like ours. The Salvation Army is ranked as one of the most efficient non-profit organizations in the world; approximately 87 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs and services.  It is your donations that allow us to Do the Most Good in your neighborhood.

So, we ask you – this Christmas to partner with us and Do the Most Good together. Help us make the most change in your communities. Register to volunteer or donate to this Salvation Army community by clicking here.

Thank you for your generosity and transforming the lives of those in your community.

Merry Christmas!
