We’re excited to announce that we have four amazing guests joining us this year!
Heather Osmond – Assistant Territorial Music and Gospel Arts Secretary in the Canada & Bermuda Territory
Greg Payton – Former Divisional Music Director in the Eastern Michigan Division
Captains Martin and Tory Ross – Divisional Secretary for Harvest Initiative and Sacramento Social Services from the Del Oro Division in California
Visitors are more than welcome to visit our Metro Music Camp performances at Camp Wonderland in Camp Lake, WI., including the final concert. Here is the schedule for each night’s concert (all programs begin at 7:45 PM unless stated otherwise):
Wednesday, June 27 – Student Showcase #1
Bands: Shagbark, Tamarack, and Camp Lake
Thursday, June 28 – Student Showcase #2
Bands: Metro and Wonderland Bands
Choruses: Citadel and Chapel Choruses
Soloists: Solo Competition winners from Shagbark Band, Tamarack Band, Camp Lake Band, and Booth Chorus.
Friday, June 29 – MMC Showcase
Bands: Faculty Band
Chorus: Faculty Chorus
Electives: Steel Pans, TBD
Soloists: Solo Competition winners from Metro Band, Wonderland Band, Citadel Chorus, and Chapel Chorus.
Saturday, June 30 – Final Concert (10:30 AM)
Featuring all student ensembles and the end of camp awards
1:30 PM – Picnic lunch at the gazebo, $2 per person (MMC Campers & Faculty lunch is free)
Visitors will need to check in at the front gate upon arrival to purchase a meal ticket. There will be WD camp staff stationed at the front gate to assist you. While reservations are not required we would ask that as a courtesy you call ahead and let camp know if you plan on staying for the picnic: 262-889-4305.
