All music camps will be held at Camp Wonderland in Camp Lake, WI.

 

Our special guests for Metro Music Camp will be Alice and Keith Pyper from Ireland.

Alice is currently a school teacher with a growing portfolio of theatrical appearances within musical theatre to her credit. She is the conductor of the Ireland Division Youth Chorus and also Singing Company Leader at Belfast Temple Corps where she plays flugelhorn in the band. Keith is currently Divisional Youth specialist for Ireland Division, he has a wealth of experience in leading and organizing camps, youth events and along with his wife Alice is attends the Belfast Temple Corps where he serves as Songster leader. Keith and Alice both are passionate about creative arts within worship and further galvanize their artistic talents with membership of Belfast Operatic Company where Keith serves as Chairperson.

 

Visitors are welcome to our Metro Music Camp performances, including the final concert. Here is the schedule for each night’s concert (all programs begin at 7:45 PM unless stated otherwise):

Wednesday, June 28                       Student Showcase #1

Featuring: Chapel Chorus, Shagbark and Tamarack Bands

 

Thursday, June 29                        Student Showcase #2

Featuring: Booth Chorus, Lake, Metro, and Wonderland Bands

 

Friday, July 30                           MMC Showcase

Featuring: MMC Faculty Chorus, Band, and Praise Band

 

Saturday, July 1                         (10:30 AM) Final concert/awards program

(1:30 PM) Picnic lunch at gazebo – $2 per person (MMC Campers & Faculty lunch is free)

Visitors will need to check in at the front gate upon arrival to purchase a meal ticket.  There will be WD camp staff stationed at the front gate to assist you.  While reservations are not required we would ask that as a courtesy you call ahead and let camp know if you plan on staying for the picnic: 262-889-4305.
