The Harbor Light Corps Community Center brings an array of neighborhood programs and services to the community. Corps community centers are The Salvation Army’s key entry point for people in need seeking all types of support – help feeding their families, assistance with paying rent and utility bills, educational and recreational activities for their children, counseling, worship and more.
Programs and services offered through corps community centers are specific to the needs of the communities in which they are located and, thus, may differ from center to center. However, they all have something to offer people of all ages – from children to seniors. The corps community center on the new Freedom Center campus will feature a gymnasium, classrooms, a computer lab and a chapel, which can function as a multi-purpose space for performances and events.
