The Salvation Army East Chicago Corps and Community Center is proud to announce that we have our Community Garden available to the public.
For the last few months we have been letting people come and grow different veggies at our Community Garden. It has been quite a success! We have tomatoes, lettuce, radish, and other goodies. However, the best part is that we actually use this vegetables to serve our community as well. All our produce benefits our Feeding Program. These veggies are served the first Friday of the month during lunch time for an average between 80 to 150 people!
Come grow with us and get involved in some radical changes for our community!
